Prioritized List of Road Work

Note: This list does not include Brush Cutback that is approved by the Board to take place August of every year at a cost of $1,000 system wide.

Project

  Widen Roadbed and remove crest near #71 Winkle Point (Wallack) to relieve flooding
    Realign North Harbor & Cove intersection per survey provided by Gruneisel
    Use crane to install deep cast rings to address drainage issues: near #24 Cherry Lawn (Giuliano), near #70 Winkle (Schwertl), near #51 Locust (Greeblatt)
    Repair Curbs - Locust as necessary from Bayberry to Cherry Lawn, #42 Winkle Point, Northwest Corner of Bayberry & Locust, #24 Cherry Lawn, #62 South Harbor, and pothole repair on Winkle Point north of Bayberry
   

Repair 100 feet of shoulder on east side of New Harbor near Cherry Lawn intersection

PAVING SCHEDULE

Once specific items listed above are completed, the balance of funds will be used for re-surfacing sections of roadway until the entire system is repaved.  This process will consist of completely milling the road surface, adjusting road pitch, and rolling 2 inches of new asphalt.  Primary roads are to be 20 feet wide, and secondary roads are to be 17 feet wide.

The road resurfacing priorities are in the following order:

[1]  Locust - from Eaton's Neck Rd to Bayberry

[2]  Bayberry - from Locust to #52 (Willmann)

[3]  Cherry Lawn  - from Locust to Old Winkle

[4]  Winkle - from #17 to #33

[5]  Cove - from North Harbor to #37

All other roads are in good shape, and will be re-assessed after items above are completed.
